Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of ZippyBills, a billing and operations management product for restaurants and retail businesses ("Service"), made available at zippybills.com. The Service is operated by ZippyBase Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("ZippyBase", "we", "us", "our"). ZippyBills is the brand and website under which ZippyBase offers its products. By creating an account or using the Service, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ZippyBase provides two products through ZippyBills — Restaurant Manager and RetailPOS — licensed on a per-device, per-term basis. A license is tied to a specific installation (identified by a device fingerprint) and grants the entitlements of the plan purchased for that device (Basic, Standard, or Premium) for the licensed term.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate business and contact information when registering, and are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must confirm your email address before your account can be used to log in.

3. Free Trial

New accounts may be eligible for a 30-day free trial as advertised at the time of signup. No payment is required to start a trial. We may modify or withdraw trial eligibility for future signups at any time.

4. Plans, Pricing & Payment

Current plans and pricing are shown on our Pricing page and may change from time to time; changes do not affect a term you have already paid for. Payment is currently accepted by UPI transfer only — we do not store card details or operate automatic/recurring billing. You confirm payment by submitting your transaction reference (UTR), which we verify before activating or renewing a license. A license's start date, and therefore its expiry, is fixed once payment is confirmed and does not extend if verification is delayed on our end.

5. License Restrictions

A license is bound to one device at a time, identified by that device's fingerprint. You may change a device's fingerprint (e.g. after reinstalling or replacing hardware) subject to a cooldown period enforced in the customer portal, intended to prevent one license being shared across multiple machines. You may not circumvent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass license enforcement. Any such attempt may result in the license being terminated or blocked, without refund, and in legal action, which will be based in the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the business data you enter into or generate through the Service. We access it only as needed to provide the Service, provide support, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it's used.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its normal operation, to attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems other than your own, or to resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves. Where reasonably possible we will give notice of changes that materially reduce functionality you've paid for.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZippyBase Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of business data, revenue, or profits.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; licenses already issued run for their paid term and are not cancelled early except as described in our Refund Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we publish a new version we will ask you to review and accept it the next time you log in to the customer portal. Earlier versions remain available on this site.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
