1. Information We Collect

• Account information: business name, email address, phone number, and business type, provided at signup.
• Branch details: address, city, state, pincode, and optionally GSTIN, if you add a business location.
• Device and license information: a device name you choose, a device fingerprint (derived from hardware/OS identifiers on the machine running our software, used solely to bind a license to that machine), and license status/activity.
• Payment references: the UPI transaction reference (UTR) you submit to confirm a payment. We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank credentials — payments are made directly between you and your bank/UPI app.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or directly by email/phone.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) and session cookies needed to keep you logged in.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account, and authenticate your login.
• Issue, verify, and renew device licenses.
• Verify payments and generate invoices.
• Send account-related email — email verification codes, password reset codes, and payment/license notices.
• Respond to support requests.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Service under their own confidentiality/security terms — currently our email delivery provider (for sending account emails) and our database/hosting provider — and where required by law.

4. Data Security

Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing, never in plain text. Login sessions and one-time codes (email verification, password reset) are single-use or time-limited. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and license data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping (e.g. invoices, tax records). You may request deletion of your account as described below, subject to information we're legally required to retain.

6. Your Rights

You can review and update most of your account information directly from the customer portal. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
